Do not hire this company for your moving needs. They fabricated a story, then harassed me with demand letters and now are threatening to take me to court. I would be very cautious about doing business with these people.

Anderson Bros. Movers is the real deal! Found them through a referral and they definitely lived up to their reputation. I originally called to ask about pricing and scheduling and spoke to Lee. Lee was great, easy to communicate with and she asked all the right questions about our move. Booking services was a smooth and easy process. On the day of the move the movers, Lawrence & Toby, arrived on time with a courteous & professional attitude.

They guys were grade A professionals who made it look so easy even though I know it is hard work moving heavy boxes & furniture. Not only were the movers pleasant to work with but they worked efficiently and handled all our belongings with great care. We don't plan on moving for a while but when we are ready to move again we will make sure to book with Anderson Bros. Movers. We first used Anderson Bros 38 years ago when as a young family, they moved us from our apt in SF to our new home in Oakland. Back then we thought they were fantastic. When we moved from our home of 38 years, we needed to find a company that would move us, help us pack glass, pictures and put things into storage. We were happy to find them again and the courtesy, knowledge and techniques Carl gave us to pack our own stuff was invaluable.

We had given ourselves plenty of time to pack, sort and declutter.this process took us 5 mos, but it was less stressful/painful and easier to manage. They have their own storage and held our possessions for 6 mos. Then we had found the right condo to downsize to, they moved us in. Courteous, friendly, attention to detail were all appreciated of both 3 person teams, and the office staff. Highly recommend them.

We had an excellent experience with Karl and his team. All services were done timely, below promised cost with very friendly and helpful workers who handled both the packing and unpacking for us. Not a single item was damaged or broken, and we were able to fit everything into the truck with the exception of one long ladder that we left behind. I would heartily recommend Anderson Movers to anyone moving in/around the East Bay.

This company is one you can feel comfortable that they will move your lifetime treasures and they will arrive intact. Mr. Anderson's team was professional, well organized, and incredibly efficient. They moved everything and intact. The move from beginning to end was 10 hours. That's with an 1.5 hour drive between locations. Solid experience.

Awful company, the guy who came to check out our home for moving was just in general not a nice dude. Very judgmental to us and made it seem like we were garbage. Would not recommend them ever. (Edit: the fact you're quick to try and shut down a response just shows your not willing to accept criticism. What a company you have there, pal.)

7 men, as promised showed up on time and with exception of a brief lunch break worked hard and efficiently from 9am - 4pm. Nothing damaged. The Anderson team was polite and professional. The owner Carl Anderson came to our home provided the proposal and did a good job of explaining why's and wherefore's of moving. Not the least expensive bid we received but given the terrific job, no breakage great staff? well worth it! Highly Recommend

These guys are GREAT. Moving? It sucks. The team from Anderson Bros literally were a BRIGHT SPOT for our relocating from the Bay Area to El Dorado County. Having not moved in 14 years, I had to look up - what constituted tip-worthiness when you're already planning on spending $X for your move. Here are the measuring sticks I used, and why Tyler, Heath, and Lawrence (our fantastic movers) deserved my usual.lavish tip: * Complexity of move.

New house has steep, curved driveway that's inaccessible and a winding staircase. Old place, narrow stairway that if navigated poorly - would result in damage. The guys navigated my ridiculous couches *expertly* through the old & new homes to place them exactly where I wanted them.even when we changed mind re: placement. Steep & curved @destination?

No joke. Their truck with a side barn door made unloading FAR easier than it otherwise would've been. Hats off to the guys. * White-glove customer service. Me? I'm an ass. I don't like multiple strangers being around my better half and these three guys were so pleasant to be around that they disarmed my US Marine kookiness *completely*. EVERY interaction we had with all three of them was just plain cool. Fun, even. Professional. Cool.

My guess as to why: being around GOOD PEOPLE is easy. That they were professional, paid attention to detail, and saved us from ourselves several times? A nice bonus. Respect for our belongings? OBVIOUS. And.very cool. * How they handled move day conditions. Shared townhouse parking stinks. They parked sensibly, perfectly, without needing to be told - blocking no one in.

There were no big surprises to speak of, but that's likely due in part to Karl (Anderson) having personally inspected my old home before committing to anything. His team arrived to a well-prepared pick-up address and delivered to an equally prepared destination. Why? Karl.

I hired Anderson Bros to handle my June 2019 move from my 1,300 sq. ft. townhouse in Lafayette CA to a similar unit in Mill Valley CA. I was wary, because I'd once had a nightmarish experience with another moving company many years ago, but I relied on a neighbor's strong recommendation about Anderson. I'm so glad that I did, because they were excellent! Karl Anderson came over to develop my estimate, and his astute observations and questions reflected his decades of experience in the moving business.

He didn't miss a thing, resulting in a clear, comprehensive estimate. On moving day, his team of movers were punctual, smart, professional, polite, efficient, and super helpful -- even in 95-degree heat! They took wonderful care of all my most important and valued items -- including a vintage mid-century Eames chair -- and gently handled everything.

Once everything was unpacked, I found not a single scratch, chip or break on ANY item. Even better, they came in under time and below cost estimate. I can confidently and enthusiastically recommend Anderson Bros for a regional move.

The team was great, patient and best customer service. These men moved my aunt from Concord to Davis. They loaded up everything, even asked questions if they were unsure. I like how they did the walk through with her. Unloading was awesome. There was a piece missing for my aunts chair. They went back to Concord and drove back to Davis. BEST MOVERS. I have moved many times in my life and this had to be the most organized, polite, patient and quick group. Great prices. 5 STARS+++

We moved a 5 BR home from Oakland to Davis. With recommendations from trusted sources, we chose 3 vendors for quotes. I very impressed with Karl Anderson's knowledge, care and attention to every detail when he made our quote that I knew his team would do the best job. I wasn't prepared that his quote was $2000 and $7000 less than his competitors.

Our move took 3 days, and throughout the team was super-considerate and careful. At the end, literally nothing was damaged except a plate that I dropped while unpacking, which I found totally astounding (having used professional movers seven other times and always sustaining damage). The jaw-dropper was that when they presented the final bill, the job went faster than expected and they charges $1800 less than the quote. Best results, best price, hardworking but easy to work with team: I wouldn't use anyone else ever again. Thank you Anderson Bros!

I recently used Anderson Bros. for a small move from one location to another location in Rossmoor. The move involved moving a few pieces of furniture plus relocating a few items inside each location. The company offers a 3-hr minimum rather than a 4-hr minimum like many companies - perfect for a small local move. Heath and Mitchell were very pleasant to work with and were fast, efficient and very careful.

The communication with the office in planning the move was great. I am very happy with their work and have referred this company to a real estate agent at Berkshire Hathaway.

In a single word - AWESOME! Without hesitation or reservation I would absolutely recommend this company in you need a moving company. Karl did an excellent job both explaining the ins-and-outs of the moving process, was extremely thorough in his estimate for how much everything would cost and the entire office staff was responsive and professional.

The gentlemen the company sent to move us could not have been better. They were on time - early actually - courteous, professional, efficient, friendly, and made a move I was dreading a breeze. I cannot say enough about how great this company is. Everyone we interacted with was pleasant, extremely professional, hard-working, and thoughtful. The estimator was very thorough and took the time to walk through every element of our move, give advice about how to make the process go smoothly, and provide a detailed estimate. He also recommended crating a very precious stained glass window that was made by my grandparents to ensure that it would not be damaged in any way (it wasn't!), which I never would have thought about.

The movers themselves were some of the nicest, most thoughtful, and considerate people I have ever met. Each one introduced himself to me and shook my hand, asked questions along the way to make sure that they were putting items in the right place, handled our belongings with care, and did a walkthrough at the end to make sure everything was complete. I was very impressed and could not have asked for a better crew! Moving is so stressful and Anderson Bros made everything so much easier. I highly recommend them!

In this day and age it is rare to meet an "owner" who comes out to the home to complete your initial estimate. Karl likes to get a feel for your specific needs and carries that over to the team for a very strategic experience. This will be my third move with Anderson Bros. And I find myself referring them to others. You owe it to yourself to contact these guys for your next move!

I cannot begin to tell you how impressed I was with Anderson Brothers. Karl was charming and professional when he came to give me an estimate. Tim and Lawrence packed, moved and unloaded everything with great care. They were always hardworking, kind, and helpful. I moved from a house in Moraga 500 miles to a condo in La Jolla and Anderson Brothers made my move easy. I can not recommend them highly enough.

Moving is the absolute worst, BUT if you hire Anderson Bros it will be so much easier! Sooooo much easier! I really can't say enough about how amazing this company is. From the initial quote, to the patience with my millions of questions while packing (thank you, Stephanie!). every person I interacted with was helpful, informative and friendly.

When the movers showed up on move day, each team member introduced himself to me and shook my hand. They asked questions right away and explained how they worked to make sure our day went as smoothly as possible. They complimented my planning and preparedness even though I know the house was a total train wreck (I was too, but they were so nice and accommodating, they made me feel at ease on such a stressful day).

They took the time to be sure everything was where it belonged, and asked me to walk through the house to make sure I didn't need anything else before they left. I was so pleased with their professionalism and kindness. They worked hard, they took less time than I anticipated, and NOTHING was damaged in the move (I'm 75% unpacked right now).

They were respectful of my belongings, patient when I wasn't quite sure where I wanted something, and just overall great people. If you are leaving this king for a moving company you can trust, look no further!

Anderson Brothers did an excellent job of meeting my needs. I needed to get my mother's stuff moved from her assisted living apartment moved from one room to another. They did the move efficiently and fast. I thought it would be a difficult job but they just picked up a dresser, chest, bed and moved it. We didn't have to remove any drawers or remove any of the stuff on top of the dresser.

Their price was less by $100 from other moving companies I called. I still gave them a 5 but I was told they would be coming at 10 am and they came at 9 am but no big deal. We really needed a small van to move a futon, table and chair to my house but they brought a large truck. Again, no big deal because it was no extra cost except for fuel charge. I would use them again and recommend their services. The guys were great, efficient and friendly.

The company moved our office and den furniture out to a storage place then back a week later while we had our flooring replaced. They were efficient, quick and careful not to mention they had a good attitude about the job. We would recomend them to anyone.

Carl & his crew are great to work with. GREAT pricing and great people that come to move your valuables. I would use them anytime to my friends and family. They really know what they are doing!

This company is AWESOME! Anderson Bros Movers helped me move from a 2-story family home in Martinez to my new 2-story town home in Benicia. They also helped my Dad with some internal moves (moving his bed and a super-heavy bureau from downstairs to upstairs). And they did it all in under 2 hours! The movers were fast, friendly, strong, efficient, cute (whoops -- did I just say that?), and they came in right on quote.

This is especially appreciated because I called them in desperation on Saturday afternoon after some other movers had to back out. I spoke to Mr. Anderson by phone, and he said he could have a crew here first thing Monday morning. And he did. And they were great. I will definitely use Anderson Bros Movers again!
