Best Movers Ever! First off, setting up the move date was so well handled. Michelle went out of her way to reserve our preferred day and time, even though I wasn't sure if we would have the house prep done in time. On the day of move, the crew sent were on time, friendly, and so efficient! After they moved and placed our furniture, they assembled all beds and tables - including fixing a headboard that I had broken beforehand. Highly recommended!

This was our first move with Lambert & Son Moving after a poor experience with another local moving company. They gave us a reasonable quote for a by-the-hour move. I really like the care they took in listening to us and remembering where things went after a quick walk-through at our new place. I had expected to be much more hands-on as they unloaded, but they got everything right, which made for a much more enjoyable moving experience. I would not hesitate to use them again!

We had a very complicate move requiring pickups from 2 house and a storage unit then transporting to out of state. The guys were amazing! They communicated their timing with us, stayed in contact and were either on time or early for everything. They really provided A+ service! Could not be recommended any higher from us!

Being able to store my belongings with Lambert, along with electronic monthly billing made everything so much easier. The Moving Team is Top Notch, going the Extra Mile to ensure my belongings were protected, stored and moved with care. Alvaro, Clester and Noel managed to fit all of my belongings onto one truck- a Miracle!- which also saved me from having to schedule a second delivery. They off-loaded the truck in a manner that has made it easy for me to start sorting through all the totes, boxes and furniture. KUDOS! 10/10 would recommend.

Bill Lambert and his guys moved us from Santa Cruz to Pebble Beach a few weeks ago. They did an amazing job and were the nicest people, from our first contact on the phone to our last box being taken away - and three trucks to do the pack, move and unpack - they treated us like family. A special thank you to Bill for his advice, and Noel and Nelson who were so professional in every way (except the singing) best of all, on budget, on time and not even one thing broken!

Lambert & Son Moving has assisted us with furniture moving twice a year since 2017. They show up on time, are professional, and are careful with our furniture.

I called Lambert & Son after my booked movers no-showed. They tried VERY hard to find someone to help me, and although they ultimately didn't have the manpower, I was grateful for Justin being quick to answer and do his best to help.

My famliy was moving from Los Gatos to Aptos, so I decided to look for movers over the hill. I came across Lambert and Sons Movers on Yelp and gave them a call. I was impressed from the very start. They were the only movers who wanted to come to my home to provide an accurate estimate. They not only were detailed in their estimate - but they told me it was a "cannot exceed number" - meaning that unless we added more furniture or needed additional items moved, the cost of the move would not change.

These guys are the best. Hard working and trustworthy. I've had to move a lot and they're my go to movers after many not so great moves.

I am happy to recommend Lambert and Son for your moving needs. The whole process was easy and stress-free. We had to move to an Airbnb while our house was being built. This meant 2 months of storage. When we were ready to move to our permanent address, Lambert was able to move our household goods from their storage, stop along the way to pick up the Airbnb goods and deliver everything to our new home. All this took place during the busy holidays and not one change of day or time! All communications and confirmations were outstanding. Thank you!

Had to move some large furniture out of the garage to have the floors repaired. Lambert & Son Moving was able to quickly accommodate a last minute move out date and they're storing it at their facility until work is done. Great scheduling service and excellent moving team. Couldn't be happier for how easy it went.

We own a home near Lambert and Sons Moving. Since the beginning of 2021, they have kept a guard/watch dog tied up outside the business. The poor dog barks for hours at a time at all hours of the night. I've called multiple times, but nothing has been done. I've lived here almost 12 years and have never had problems with noise, despite being close to the SPCA and freeway. Please, Lambert and Sons, find a home for that dog and an alternative security system.

These people are phenomenal. They are timely, they're honest, they are fair, and they bend over backwards to work with you and your needs. They arrived on moving day when they said they would, they brought the crew they promised, they moved steadily and efficiently. They treated my property with respect. The same crew delivered my furniture with the same efficiency and gusto. They were awesome I highly recommend. They are wonderful wonderful people.

Found them by searching for "piano movers" on Yelp. It turned out they only do piano moving as part of the full move. So, for those, like me, who need to move their piano (and piano only), keep looking. 3 stars because they did respond to a quote request.

We have used Lambert and Son for full move ins, container loading and, unloading for construction work and they are fantastic. Our jobs are usually pretty quick so the 2 hour minimum stings a bit, but I get it, they can't just go around doing half hour jobs and sustain the business so it's totally fair. They are very careful, super good at complicated angles and really fast. Bonus that the front office can usually squeeze my jobs in even when they are super busy. And they are usually very busy so call in advance. So much better and more safe than doing it yourself. Pivot!

As per our move from Scott's Valley to Santa Barbara. I give your moving team 5 Stars. The men were on time, courteous, efficient, careful, worked at a great pace. At the drop off end, even better. Showed up early as prearranged By a courtesy phone call. Worked with and around another moving company that was moving another tenant in at the exact same time in the same complex. Took the time to assemble some pieces that needed a little extra work.

Put all the furniture where the wife requested it. Jim's bidding process and walk-through to evaluate the pre-move was done very seamlessly, easy and efficient. No surprises when the bid came in. Nice to see Bill Lambert coming over the house on the day of the move to review and reevaluate and make sure the bid matched the job. All phone call follow ups before the move were done professionally, yet with a nice personal touch. Overall a great experience, no Hidden fees, no last minute add-ons and no damage to any of my personal property Thank you Lambert & Son Moving Team.

I would definitely recommend Lambert & Sons Moving for their reliability, on-time service and quick response. I had my daughter move back home for summer & winter, Lambert & Sons helped move all her stuff into storage and efficiently moved all her stuff back as soon we needed it. I had nothing to worry about. The staff is very kind and tries to work with your requests. Go no further if you need reliable movers.

I wasn't familiar with Lambert and Son Moving before I moved from Redwood City to Santa Cruz, but I was very pleased with their work. There were several tricky aspects to my move (picking up things at my storage as well as my apartment, putting some items in storage.) At first I thought "This is too complicated to explain." But they figured it out and the move went smoothly. They worked so hard (it took longer than we expected), they were polite and friendly, and careful with my belongings. I highly recommend them.

When the pandemic hit, the business my partner and I worked in closed and we both lost our jobs. We knew we had to move, because we couldn't afford to pay our rent. In this most stressful of times Dan, Justin and the team at Lambert Movers were our saving grace! They were on time, kind, great attitudes, professional, competitively priced and fast. To prove my point, I just got a job in Monterey county, and I am planning to use Lambert Movers again. They are simply the best people for the job!

We had a great experience with Lambert and Son. They did two moves for us, a week apart. In the first, one of the movers was not quite dialed in, but the other two were fabulous. In the second move, the weak member had been replaced, and all three movers were wonderful. They were careful, responsive, friendly, and industrious. A real joy to work with. Also, the bidding process was efficient and the bid reasonable. We hope we won't be moving again for a long time, but when we do, we'd definitely work with them again!

Lambert & Sons is a great company. Easy to work with, reasonably priced and very efficient. They were extremely professional and handled all of items with great care. We had a somewhat complicated move where some of items were being sent to storage while others were delivered to a location. Everything went very smoothly. We couldn't be happier with our experience.

I have used Lambert and Sons several times in the past and they just seem to get better and better with each move. You always start with Michelle to schedule. Her extra friendly organized demeanor immediately puts you at ease during what could be a very stressful ordeal. They start with a date that works, then the follow up call and finally moving day.

Of course they are consistently on time, friendly and professional no matter what crew they send. What prompted me to finally write a review besides my previous dealings with Michelle is the crew that was sent out yesterday. It consisted of Ronnie (Lead), Nick and Adrian. My moves are always challenging due to very heavy antique furniture, vending machines and anything you can think of that would be miserable to move, and a lot of it. Ronnie asked for a quick tour so he had an idea of what he was dealing with.

Not a whine, moan or rolling of the eyes one time. Just a smile and a can do attitude. That persisted throughout the day, trip to storage, back and the final trip to the new home. What should have been a miserable long day turned out to be a productive almost pleasant experience. After the final nightmare load instead of them running for the hills, they asked if they could do anything else for me. Unbelievable.

I sincerely hope this will be one of my last moves but you can bet if not, Lambert and Sons will be my first call. Hopefully with the assistance of Michelle, Ronnie and crew. Thanks again for being there!

Lambert moved us in 2 stages after we sold our home. First they packed us up and out of a large 5000 sq ft house and put everything in storage. A couple of weeks later they reloaded us up and moved into our new home. The team was terrific at every stage, including packing and moving a piano. They were efficient, attentive and careful, both loading and unloading. Everything was delivered in great shape. Our extended family has used Lambert over 5 moves and all were really happy campers.

Lambert & Son Moving is by far the best moving company I have ever worked with! I have hired them to move staging into homes for sale and they did a great job with no damage to the items and they work quickly. I have referred them to real estate clients for years and all have had 100% positive experiences. The owner of the company also has a big heart.

When I found a washer & dryer at no cost for an elderly woman who was washing her clothes by hand, the owner of Lambert & Son said his company would move the washer and dryer to her home at no charge! I cannot say enough good things about this company who does a great job and who gives back to those in need in the community!

These folks are the best! They charge a reasonable hourly rate and stick by it. They will lend you moving equipment (e.g. wardrobe boxes) for free. If you want to purchase them they prices are very reasonable ($15 for a wardrobe box; $2.50 for a huge stack of heavy duty wrapping paper). They are very easy to work with, I changed my moving date 3 times and they accommodated me. Very careful and professional movers. I moved from Carmel Valley to Monterey and they did not start charging until they reached my house. Thank you, Lambert and Sons.

Excellent moving company. One of the best customer service experiences I have had, from making the initial reservation all the way through the completed move. They are responsive, on-time, diligent & efficient in their work, and have very fair prices. I recommend them to anyone looking to move or needing moving services in the Central Coast area.

We hired this company last month to move our two story 3/2 sized Capitola Condo to a Santa Cruz home. The team showed up on time with Covid-19 masks ready to go as planned and summarized the process before they started. We had some very large and delicate heavy furniture items which the team handled with no issues. The team took great care with our items including wrapping our furniture and handling of fragile items.

They moved efficiently and communicated with us throughout the move to ensure our furniture and boxes were placed where we desired. All in all they made the experience smooth and quick during a rather stressful time for us.

Why I gave a 1 star is the two of the workers are work hard, but one worker dropped things at least two times, and didn't help a lot. I knew my new place have steps and narrow entrance and the sofa is heavy. However, the crews looks like no much experience, they didn't wrape the furniture. Even the soba is fabric, they didn't do any protection.

The team has three crews, but only two men lifted the sofa, one crew just stand in the side and use his mouth. My sofa's fabrics were scratche. It left holes and some dirty marks. It makes me feel so bad. The company did not assigned enough crews with moving experience.

Great follow through. They showed up exactly on time, handled everything carefully, and unloaded quickly.

We are only partly through the moving process and yet I am as confident as one can be somewhere in the middle of an extensive project, such as moving out of state. This company, from the beginning, had lots of ideas on how to handle any question I asked or only problem I presented to them. I felt my confidence in them growing as we 1. moved a lot into storage 2. Got estimates for future stages of the move, etc. When the move is completed, I'll post a follow-up!

Excellent moving company! I searched all around Santa Cruz for the right company and chose Lambert & Son based on their professionalism and friendly customer service. Their prices are fair and the workers are efficient. The took great care of all of our items and went above and beyond to protect our carpet and belongings.
