Went to pick up something from a friend, facility is way worth the $$. Upscale, temp controlled.

Extremely clean and nice facility. My parents kept there stuff here for about two years and it was a positive experience. The staff is incredibly polite and helpful.

Extremely clean, safe storage space. Their office staff are very responsive and work to find you the appropriate space. Quick and easy booking and check out of the space afterwards.

I've had a unit herefor a few years now. There are cheaper facilities but you won't find the kind of service and welcome that you get by Rita. Always efficient and helpful. A real pleasure to deal with. The facility itself is immaculate, safe and well laid out.

I came to Marriott hotel about a month ago. I've had a lot of stuff I couldn't fit in my hotel room. I met Rita, who was extremely pleasant and helpful and I was surprised to receive discount. The storage looks like a museum with the art pieces displayed on the walls is very clean and climate controlled. Everybody who works here is very pleasant and helpful. I will miss this place when I will have my own apartment and no need for storage anymore.

Transitions can be stressful but a great storage facility can ease the process. Westy's self storage in Tuckahoe NY is clean, well managed and professionally staffed. I primarily interacted with Rita who answers the phone with a smile. She handled questions clearly and completely putting me at ease. She knows her job inside and out, even guiding trucks safely on to the loading dock. From start to finish, she made my storage experience feel seamless. She and members of the management team go the extra mile, creating a highly positive customer experience.

The staff at Westy Self Storage in Hackensack are courteous and friendly. I am moving to NC and was in need of a storage unit until the move could be done. The staff was informative and friendly with helping to decide which unit best fit my needs and I was very pleased with how bright and clean the facility is. Each time I was a Westy bringing items in, I was greeted with smiles and friendly faces.

They were helpful with the code logins and also with helping us secure the Westy truck when I needed to move in larger items. They made a stressful thing such as moving an easy and relaxing experience. I am confident to recommend them to anyone who has storage needs. They are the best in the business.

Used Westy when my parents were moving from NY to NJ and needed to store everything from furniture to personal items like clothes, bags, and shoes while getting the new home ready. When we came to visit, their associate was extremely helpful and explained everything clearly. They were upfront about pricing and was very accommodating to our questions and concerns.

They listened to what we needed and offered solutions that was geared to help us more than just to make money for them. Facility was extremely clean, organized, and well lit. They even gave us recommendations on movers. They were so accommodating that they stayed open past the closing time just so we could finish moving our stuff into storage. Definitely going back to Westy for any storage needs in the future. Don't even look anywhere else in the area. Just go with Westy.

I couldn't be more pleased with a storage facility. I have been a customer since February and all my interactions with the facility, starting with Tom who was generous with his time and extremely courteous, have been superb! It is rare to find such exemplary and outstanding customer service in the quick-paced world of today. The kindness of the staff is remarkable.

The facility is immaculate, safe and well designed. The corridors are spacious which really helps when loading and unloading boxes and furnishings. The place always has staff around, and no one is allowed into the facility after hours. I can't begin to convey how grateful I am to Tom and the rest of the staff for making this a truly "worry-free" storage facility. What a pleasure! Thank you!

Outstanding staff and service! Knowing that I would be closing on the sale of my home I decide to look for a self storage facility. Based on location it was between Westy and Extra Storage within hundreds of feet of each other on the River Edge/Hackensack border. After looking at both we decided on Westy. We decided on a 10' x 15' space. With our rental we got the first month free.

It included the use of their truck for 4 hours. They also had a complimentary hand truck, dollies, tie-downs and blankets if you needed them. We moved the entire contents of our house into this unit. Closing on a house just before the holidays and getting everything into storage was a very stressful experience. The staff at Westy was very kind and courteous. They exceeded my expectations and I couldn't have been more happy with the staff or the facility. I would highly recommend this place if you need extra storage.

Much better than the CubeSmart that is across the street (I used to store there until there was a break-in). It's cleaner, and seems more secure. That being said, the hours are awful for a storage facility. They close at 6pm on weekdays, so if i need a few hours after work to pick-up or drop off items, it just doesn't cut it. And the Sunday 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM window is just too tight. I'd like to get things out of the way early Sunday mornings. It's probably their way to keep a reasonable price point, but those hours aren't especially convenient.

Another concern is that they really were NOT at all helpful when I requested to be moved to a storage locker that was closer to the elevator and lower floor. I've both stopped by the desk, and made phone calls. They put my name and number on a stack of index cards with similar requests. I was informed that when a space opened up, they would get in touch with me. That was two years ago, and I still haven't heard from them.

I cannot say enough good things about the Westy self storage in tuckahoe ny. My elderly uncle went to live with my brother and I had to quickly find a place to store some of his furniture. I wasn't sure how long I needed storage and frankly I wasn't sure what I was going to do! Since I live near tuckahoe and have past the Westy self storage I thought I give it a try! Well, lucky for me that I called them.

Not only was I able to find a place to store my uncle's furniture but they were so helpful in finding me the appropriate unit. The place is beautiful! I know it sounds strange to call a storage place beautiful but it is. It is immaculate and bright and climate controlled. Not only is it affordable but the entire staff are so polite and helpful! I swear I could live there! Do not hesitate to go to Westy in tuckahoe, ny. You will be pleased! Cathy

I just closed out my unit, having rented here since 2008 when my daughter started college nearby while we were living abroad. Though we did not access the unit frequently, we always found the facility to be spotless, bright, and very well run. In addition, contrary to an earlier review, my account was pro-rated to the day we moved things out, with absolutely no hassle, and no advance notice was needed. It was a great experience.

If I could give this facility zero stars, I would. Although the storage space is clean and safe, it is quite expensive. But that is ok. The real issue is that the management only cares about how much of your money they can keep. With more than 30 days advance notice (not required by Westies, btw) we moved out just a few days afer the start of the billing cycle.

No one there mentioned that their policy is NO PRO RATING of the monthly charges. We only discovered this after we moved out, and we tried to negotiate with them for some concession as we had just paid an entire months rent, to be told that "by law we cannot return any rent to you" and "you should have read your contract". We are good customers - not only had my husband and I had storage space there for more than a decade, we have never missed a payment or even been late.

To be treated that way was unconscionable. It was like talking to robots. Bad robots. Westies, you may keep your tiny-print rules to the letter, and use them to justfy keeping our money, but you are losing our future business and that of many of our family members as well. Your customer service is simply insulting. It is not service for your customers at all.
