Hawkeye Moving was the delivery company for an IKEA order. All communications from IKEA indicated an on time delivery on a Wednesday, the day I chose on my IKEA order. Wednesday came and went without a call lot set up delivery. Upon reaching out to IKEA, I spoke to a forwarding company, who gave me the contact information for this place. They also confirmed the item was in Hawkeye's possession on Tuesday afternoon. Called Hawkeye and they told me it was indeed there Tuesday and the earliest they could delivery was more than a week later.

This place is 15 minutes away. I ended up picking up the items for my daughter myself and they got to keep their money as if they delivered it. Zero communication that they were not going to meet the delivery date and offer to deliver it that day to make it right.

I placed a large order with Ikea on 10/15 and it was supposed to be delivered on 12/4, but I didn't receive any information from the delivery company until 12/20 when I received a text stating my order would be delivered 12/22. It's Christmastime in a pandemic so it's understandable to have delays like this and normally I wouldn't care. However, 7 of the 19 boxes I received were for someone else.

The delivery guys, who were kind and accommodating, immediately came back to pick up the wrongly delivered items, but now the 6 boxes I'm missing have yet to turn up. I received an email this evening (1/3) that my other items are not in the company's possession, so I'm in the process of getting a refund through Ikea and ordering replacements. I'm fortunate to not necessarily need the items immediately but this has still been a rather disappointing experience. I'm more upset about having to pay a second $119 delivery fee, but it seems I don't have any other option.

Hawkeye was set to deliver my kitchen cabinets on October 3, 2021. Upon delivery, a cabinet was scratched as they tried to force it through my door. My contractor offered to remove the door so that the item could fit through with ease. The delivery guys declined. As they were pushing the item through we heard some scraping and inspected the cabinet.

There was visible scratching on the item and it was refused and returned because of the damage. I then ordered a replacement and paid an additional $165.42 to the company that makes the cabinetry just to make ensure that upon receipt of the replacements I would have two separate cabinets rather than the one that was a tight fit. It is now officially two months later after the initial delivery debacle and Hawkeye received my replacement cabinetry (the one they scratched) on November 22nd.

They did not reach out to me to schedule a delivery. After reaching out to them I was told that they only service my area twice monthly and that they could not give me an ETA on my cabinets. I have experienced financial hardships with the setbacks caused by their original carelessness. It is December 3rd and they were rude and unhelpful about fast-tracking my delivery.

This company shows no remorse for its clients and does not care about customer service or righting their wrongs. I have had to push back my countertop measurements for two months and now I will not be able to have a kitchen for the month of December or the foreseen future. The manager Jill let me know that she could offer me the opportunity to drive almost an hour from my home to meet their driver and pick up my own cabinets. Jill did not ask if I had a vehicle to support two kitchen cabinets or even offer a simple apology. She then proceeded to act as though my unhappiness with that "solution" (laughable) was unwarranted. This company is despicable and very unprofessional.

Hawkeye Moving just delivered an order of furniture from Ikea for us and they did a great job. They communicated when they would arrive (and it was exactly what Ikea quoted when I placed the order). They also called when they were 15 minutes away, and arrived at the beginning of the delivery window which was shop much better than when you wait around all day.

The guy even pointed out damage to one of the boxes and opened it for me to inspect. This one of the smoothest delivery experiences I've had! I will definitely use them in the future.

Been very difficult to work with. We ordered a mattress through Home Depot with a delivery date of 6/29 and it is now 8/23. I understand this date may not be reliable because it's from Home Depot who we ordered the mattress from and not the delivery company. However we were updated that it was ready to ship over for almost two weeks and received no call to schedule an appointment.

We called everyday for a week to be continuously told that the person who schedules appointments is not in that day. Maybe they were on vacation but regardless that is unacceptable for no one to fill in for that week. Once we finally got ahold of someone to schedule we were told it would be delivered today 8/23. We called to confirm today and they said we were not on the schedule.

On top of all the issues my wife has been treated very rudely every time and talked down to repeatedly. She is 6 months pregnant and we've been sleeping on a mattress on the floor this whole time. The mattress is only about 2 hours away and at this point I might just go there myself and get the mattress because this company seems incompetent. Alex and Morgan Campbell

Delivered a partial load. I didn't know it was partial until they arrived. Took a day off to be at house. Paperwork showed two boxes of four missing. Then they reported to the shipper that the whole shipment was delivered. When I called the shipper, they couldn't even tell me if the whole shipment was made. No customer service anywhere anymore

Very lazy driver. I had an order that I confirmed to be delivered by text. Their driver said I refused to receive the delivery, which is a lie. I was home all day and I did not see a moving truck come by. They told me they would be there at 10:45 AM, and I was there waiting for them. The driver said he knocked on the door, which was a lie. If he had knocked on the door I would have seen him because I was working on my front porch.

I called the drive later and he brushed me off. Either the driver was lazy or he accidentally went to the wrong address. Later, I called customer service and I was told I had to wait for them to "reapprove" it because I "refused" delivery. This takes several days and really makes it difficult to move into a new house. I wasted a lot of time and energy tracking down my personal effects.

**EDITED 4/6 TO ADD: The manager, Jill, did call me back the following morning after I wrote this review, and she indicated my order was returned after they received a cancellation notice 3/19 from the order company. I called the order company myself and they assured me my order was still open and active, as evidenced by the open shipping tracking.

As Jill had stated to me on the phone, there is evidently a big misunderstanding/miscommunication somewhere in this shipping process, which has been made especially difficult because there is another third party (CRST) involved in their contracting. I can understand that, but I've decided to cancel my order because I am tired of making these calls and trying to get to the bottom of this and I feel this is not a burden the customer should have to shoulder.

I have updated my rating from one star to five stars because I do appreciate Jill returning my call and assuring me she would be looking into this matter. She called me a second time today to give me an interim update because the person she needed to talk to next is out of office for the day, which I felt demonstrated she really does care about helping me resolve this.

I was also given clarification by the order company that the shipping refund should have processed through the company I purchased from, not through Hawkeye Moving, so I want my review to reflect that that delay, which was my biggest gripe, was no fault of this business. I am still disappointed in the lack of communication throughout this process prior to today and that at no point was I or my shipping tracking updated, but from what Jill communicated, Hawkeye Moving seems to have had limited control over what information was provided to me; I still don't quite understand that, but I do trust Jill's response and am going to give small business the benefit of the doubt that a cancellation was received and that the miscommunication was not the sole or direct fault of this business.

Even though I have since cancelled the order, the biggest factor in changing my review was Jill's outreach and sincere desire to help me reach a resolution.** I placed an order 3/9 and was given an estimated shipping date of 3/18. I gave it what I felt was a reasonable about of time and when I had not heard from anyone nor seen any update, I finally called the company I ordered through on 3/28.

I was encouraged to give it another day or two as the business felt the shippers had had ample time and there was no way it'd be any longer. I ended up calling back 3/30 when my order still hadn't arrived. At that point, my order was "rescheduled" for April 1. My order didn't arrive, again! I called 4/2 and was told the shipping company had been contacted and they now gave an estimate of 4/7.

Almost one full month after my order with no phone call, email, or any outreach attempt from this shipping company (yes, I checked my spam/junk folder). At the conclusion of my 4/2 call, the business customer service rep of the company I ordered through - after an hour and a half on the phone - indicated she'd processed a shipping refund request, provided me with an open case number, and was given the assurances of the shipping company that they'd contact me within 24 hours to file a complaint.

Let me be clear, I was not looking for an apology, just an explanation and update. At the time, I had no intention of filing a complaint but was glad the customer service rep had taken this step so I would hear SOMETHING from the shipping company. If you've read this far, you can probably guess what happened - no phone call, no contact attempt, no update, and no order arrived. Today, April 5, I called the company I ordered through for the fourth time as my online tracking for this order still shows the "rescheduled" delivery of 4/1 and has not been updated, nor have I been contacted. I was provided the name and number for this business. I have left a voicemail and am eagerly awaiting a response, an update, and for my shipping refund to process.

Very very stupid company. They'll end up giving you an high rate in the beginning. And once they drop it off they increase the price even more. Which isn't less, but it's straight $2,000 your paying more. They cheat with you. And not just that but they have so much horrible customer service that the dumb driver won't answer your phone. And they don't care they will literally leave your stuff on the streets, in a unknown place. Which isn't good. Don't ever use this company. If you ever will you will totally stress out and waste time and money, which is a lot.

Horrible Company! They don't Deserve a One Star! They Received my hot tub last week. I called to set up a delivery time for I was hoping Friday but had to take Monday. I Obviously had to take the entire day off as they have a four hour window to deliver. I hired An electrician for today and another moving company to move my hot tub from the driveway to the backyard.

I get a call around 9 Saying they can't deliver today as they have no license driver! Are you serious You do not have a licensed driver? Then They don't even know when they can deliver it! On the phone with Costco now! Thanks for the awesome service! Not! I Highly recommend going anywhere but here.

If I could give them 0 stars, I would. They cancelled our delivery twice. My husband called extremely upset with them. The 2nd time they cancelled our delivery time was between 12 and 4, they didn't call until 3:45 to tell us it wouldn't be delivered. My husband called again and they assured him last Friday that we would be their first delivery today (Monday 7/16/18) which is 9am and there was absolutely no way they could have delivered last Friday because all of their trucks were full. It's now 11:13 and it just got delivered.

They banged my door and walls with the boxes. The truck looked empty when they were taking my stuff out. And when they asked me where I wanted my boxes, I asked them what was in the boxes, as I had two pieces of furniture being delivered. He said he had no idea and when I asked if it said on the boxes, he said no. When I asked him again and said I had two things being delivered he could magically tell what was in the boxes by looking at one of the ends of the box.

I said one stays upstairs and one goes downstairs. He told me that they weren't allowed to go up and down stairs for legal reasons. I have NEVER heard of a moving/reliever company not being able to go up and down stairs. Pretty sure that's their job.

They had to deliver some furniture. They called me to say some things were broken and that they were going to contact the furniture company to reschedule the delivery. After a week without news, I called the furniture company and found out they hadn't contact them yet.

My family and I give our highest of recommendations to Hawkeye Moving Services! We hired Hawkeye to move our entire home this summer and our experience was TOP NOTCH! Everyone we dealt with at Hawkeye was wonderful; from the first call to their office, all the way through delivery of our last piece of furniture off of their truck. We were blown away by how professional, courteous, respectful and knowledgeable EVERYONE was.

They followed through with every commitment promised; they were on time and even called us when they were on their way to our home the morning of our move! The guy that came out to our home to give us a quote was accurate (the pricing was a pleasant surprise as well!) and told us what to expect; our move coordinator responded to every silly little question we had via email and phone and they put our minds at ease.

Our crew that actually moved us was AMAZING! Larry, Austin and Dom exceeded our expectations and my husband and I even joked that Larry might actually be Superman or something. Holy impressive! We recommend Hawkeye to everyone and we will only use Hawkeye in the future for any type of moving service that we need! Thank you, Hawkeye!

Had a contract to have furniture delivered and assembled through Hawkeye Moving. They did a fantastic job! The 2 guys that came to our home were courteous and professional. They brought all of their own tools for assembly! They were very careful to inspect the furniture and to make sure that it was exactly where we wanted it. When a mirror didn't get on the truck, they were quick to locate it and to schedule the next delivery.

I was very impressed that they were able to back a large tractor trailer down our street. We had a white glove delivery so they even took all of the packing with them! I will highly consider using Hawkeye moving in our future moves with their professional and courteous staff!
